_______
Mānawatia a Matariki
Matariki is a time of reflection, celebration, and preparation: to honour those we have lost, to celebrate what we have, and to look forward to the new year.
We wish to acknowledge those who passed away in the last year, particularly those who dedicated their lives to mana motuhake and Te Tiriti. Moe mai rā.
We also honour the commitment of those who stood firm in the face of continued attacks on Te Tiriti, and we welcome those who joined the movement for Te Tiriti justice.
Looking ahead, we must continue to support one another on our journey to a Te Tiriti honouring Aotearoa, where the guarantees of rangatiratanga, ōritetanga, and honourable kawanatanga are realised. It’s also important to pause, breathe, look up at the stars, and appreciate moments of joy.
In that spirit, this pānui highlights opportunities to learn, connect, and act. We share our new resources, upcoming events, and ideas for action in the weeks ahead.
He mihi maioha ki a koutou katoa
