New resources – election Tiriti conversations

Ka tangi te pīpīwharauroa, ko te karere a Mahuru

The shining cuckoo calls, it is the messenger of September.

The call of the pīpīwharauroa signals the start of Kōanga, a time of renewal and new beginnings. We are emerging from the depths of winter into the warmth and light of spring. The general election is rapidly approaching and it is a critical time for Te Tiriti. Conversations with people we know is a vital way to create understanding of, and support for, Te Tiriti at election time – so we’ve created new resources to support this.

In this pānui, our Kaihautū Jen Margaret and Te Tiriti advocate Michaela Keeble share practical tactics, along with links to these and other great resources, to support you in Te Tiriti conversations.

We are grateful for all the collectives doing inspiring work for the good of current and future generations and the planet and, as always, for the on-going work you each do in your own spheres of influence to uphold Te Tiriti.

He mihi maioha ki a koutou katoa

Nā mātou,

Jen, Victoria, Hannah, Louise.
