Te Tiriti workshop – Tapu Te Ranga Marae fundraiser

Are you keen to develop your understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi while also supporting Tapu Te Ranga Marae?
Groundwork: Facilitating Change, in conjunction with Community Law’s Wellington Office and Newtown Community and Cultural Centre, are offering a one day introductory Te Tiriti workshop in September. All registration fees from the workshop will go to the rebuilding of Tapu Te Ranga Marae.

Understanding Te Tiriti o Waitangi – One day workshop
How can we understand Te Tiriti o Waitangi in today’s context, and how might we apply this understanding to our daily life? Find out about the history of Te Tiriti—why it was written, what it says, and how we got to be where we are today. Use this knowledge to help make sense of current politics and relationships and to explore where you stand.
WHEN: 9.30am-4.30pm, Saturday 7 September 2019.
WHERE: Newtown Community and Cultural Centre (cnr of Rintoul & Colombo Sts)
COST: $35 students/unwaged, $75 community sector, $150 private/government sector.
